Friendly and child focussed with all funds raised going straight to research and trials.
Our fund is transparent, positive and comforting. We named the fund in Lilly’s honour so that her spirit lives on as a symbol of determination and hope. Lilly had such an inspiring lust for life, which we’re determined to carry on.
Lilly loved to dance and joke around – her laughter was contagious and her ability to shine like a diamond on the darkest of days gave us strength. It’s important to us that Lilly's personality and nature shine through everything we do, so you’ll see lots of pink being used – pink was her favourite colour and if you paired it with anything glittery, she loved it! Lilly was a girlie girl who loved to get crafty. She often dreamed of days where she could swim for hours with her sister Zoe and her hair would grow back, long and blonde.
As a family, we went through so much together – from Lilly’s initial diagnosis, to her being 'Cancer Free' and then her relapse. We fought for Lilly’s wellbeing, health and ultimately, her life during those years. This compelled us to create Lillies for Hope, so we could make the process of treating cancer less painful for other families and ultimately, finding a cure for childhood cancer.
